Controversy Surrounding Funeral Arrangements for Owner of a Gay Bar

The owner of a gay bar in San Diego has died, and everyone is chiming in on what to do about his funeral. Should he be given a Catholic Mass and funeral? Or should he not? The parish priest originally said no, but the diocesan Chancery Office is "over-ruling" the decision. For more, check out California Catholic Daily here.

The Bishop is right. Why would the lacal priest wait until the man passed away. The local priest should have taken a stand when he became aware of the man's anti-Catholic behavior.
